Buy from us with confidence. Unlike some other home cheese making suppliers

  • we do not repackage our cultures. You need a sterile environment to safely re-package cheese making bacteria. Our cultures come directly from the manufacturer and will be send to you unopened and using the fastest shipping method.
  • we don't have our cultures lying around in a shop. We store our cultures in a freezer as soon as they have arrived. We have licensed food premises and your cultures come out of the freezer and will be send directly to you.
  • we are cheese makers ourselves and use the same products as we sell to you. We are happy to answer any questions you have.
  • we do not sell waterpipes as cheese making moulds. Water pipes although being food safe for water collection are not safe to be used for food production.
  • we promise should you be unhappy with any of our products we will either replace it or refund the purchase price (not the shipping cost)
  • we don't have fancy labels and a marketing department. But we sell proven cheese making supplies we use ourselves at the lowest prices possible.
Mesophillic (lower temps. 25 - 35 deg C) culture is used for Soft and pressed cheese with no eye formation. For example all cheddar style cheeses. For up to 200 liters of milk which gives approx. 20kg of cheese.

Strong acidifying activity. Very low gas production. Very phage resistant 

Culture comes in a vial with freezed dried culture.
For up to 200 liters of milk which gives approx. 20kg of cheese. Depending on the type of milk used.

It is a DVS culture (Direct Vat Set) which means you can use it as is in your milk without the need to prepare a liquid starter. 

Please keep in mind that cultures should be kept in the freezer. I will try and avoid a long shipping time. Please make sure the cultures can be delivered to you. I will not ship cultures before a weekend since delivery might get delayed.

Contains lactose as a growing medium during production
